Balladen School Council is made up of 14 pupils, 2 from each year group. Council members are picked using a raffle system, except in Year 6 where members campaign and are elected.
The council meets most Mondays and looks at improvements that could be made in school; finds ideas to raise money for school funds; and listens to the views of other pupils.
The school council has recently ordered outdoor toys such as Hula Hoops, Skipping ropes, Swing ball sets and Skittles.
Recently a litter pick was undertaken by members of the school council. They had a very successful day, cleaning the local streets and collecting 8 bags of litter!
